We are pleased to announce that following a registration audit carried out by UKAS-Registered Body, SGS United Kingdom Ltd in March 2004, the Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre, Rubber Consultants' parent body, was recommended for registration to ISO 9001:2000. Certification to ISO 9001: 2000 is the culmination of many months of work developing and implementing an organisation-wide quality management system that meets the stringent requirements of this International Standard. TARRC regards this achievement as a beginning, and not an end, of the objective to constantly strive to improve our systems and increase customer satisfaction. As TARRC's extensive facilities and expertise are available to customers through its commercial division, Rubber Consultants, achieving this recognizable certification further reinforces the quality and service clients can expect.

The facilities on offer to clients include millroom mixing and rubber compound testing together with advice on compound selection, fabrication and tool design. Parts can also be produced if required from one offs, prototypes or small production runs. Rubber Consultants have experience in working with the aerospace industry both in Europe and the USA.

There are many benefits arising from TARRC's certification to ISO 9001: 2000, including the opportunity to improve business processes and save money.
