Two new laboratories for 2006
RC had another good year in 2005 with turnover up 8%. The major income stream was chemical and analytical, particularly for the pharmaceutical industry. In order to fulfil the needs of this industry, good management practice and other quality requirements, two new laboratories are being refurnished for 2006.
These laboratories will be newly designed and dedicated areas for the GC-MS and GC-FID facilities for cGMP leachables testing. The GC-MS equipment has the latest inert source detectors, and other capabilities include headspace GC-NPD testing for acrylonitrile monomer, and headspace GC-FID for detection of volatile organics.
