Extractable and Leachable Testing Services

We can carry out E&L testing on a wide range of products including orally, inhaled and nasal drug products (OINDPs):

• metered dose inhalers (MDIs)
• dry powder inhalers (DPIs)
• parenteral and ophthalmic drug products (PODPs), such as prefilled syringes, bags, tubing, vials, filters, closures, bottles etc.

Our E&L testing is carried out according to the 'Safety Thresholds and Best Practices for Extractables and Leachables in Orally Inhaled and Nasal Drug Products (OINDPs) which was published by the Product Quality Research Institute (PORI).

As well as E&L testing we also offer a range of analytical methods to help with drug delivery failure analysis, contamination issues and component quality control testing.
