PURPOSE

• To assist in the generation of income through funded research opportunities
• To provide a product testing service for the consultancy

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducting and monitoring of product testing.
• Assist in calibration and performance verification testing.
• Assistance in mill room duties as and when required.
• Assist with physical testing of rubber compounds.

KEY ATTRIBUTES & COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge of safe working practices in the laboratory
• The ability to be able to read and interpret standards and perform the necessary calculations to generate test results
• Knowledge of standards and testing methodology
• Ability to record data accurately and reliably
• Ability to communicate with colleagues to discuss results
• Ability to monitor the performance of all test equipment and to alert senior staff when this falls outside acceptable limits
