Rubber Consultants OPEN DAY 2017 another Great Success
TARRC opened its doors on Friday 9th June 2017 for an unrivalled opportunity for buyers/importers/distributors of rubber-based products and materials to be able to meet face-to-face with seven Malaysian manufacturers at Brickendonbury, Hertford.
We were delighted that almost 100 people registered to attend the event with visitors travelling from as far afield as Sweden, The Netherlands and Germany.
Held directly after Automechanika Birmingham, this provided the perfect platform to meet key business and technical contacts in major Malaysian rubber product manufacturing companies covering all sectors including automotive, railway, medical, oil and gas and construction.
Throughout the day there was an opportunity to meet the manufacturers for individual business meetings and discuss topics of mutual interest. MATRADE were also represented at the event by Mr Khairul Nizam Moonier, Malaysian Trade Commissioner UK and Assistant Trade Commissioner, Mr Muhammad Hafizzudin Ishak.
Visitors were also able to see TARRC’s extensive facilities for rubber-based R&D - Europe’s No. 1 independent test laboratory, Rubber Consultants. Tours were given by our scientists, technologists and engineers who were able to show first hand why there is no one else in Europe with the range of facilities and expertise in the rubber sector.
