New Chief Executive Officer of TARRC

The Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) has announced Dr Lee Jiang Jun as the new Chief Executive Officer of TARRC, their UK based research and development facility. Dr Lee’s role commences on 1st February 2021 and he will work closely with the Senior Managers, Colin Robinson and Zaila Bakar, on a strategic plan to ensure the continued success and growth of the operation. Dr Lee holds a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at University of California, Berkeley. For the last 13 years he has worked as Research Officer at the Malaysian Rubber Board. His research interests were focused on structural engineering, mechanics and materials, rubber in engineering and earthquake engineering. Director General of the MRB and TARRC Chairman, Dato’ Dr Zairossani Mohd Nor said that “TARRC is regarded as an important asset to the Malaysian Rubber Board and is world renowned for its’ achievements in research and development in the rubber industry. The appointment of Dr Lee will assist TARRC in enhancing its commercial services to the global rubber industry through new business strategy and growth by utilising its unique facilities and expertise based in Hertford”.
